How to: Cash-in process

A step-by-step guide for Wam Agents to help customers top up their wallets with cash.

Helping a customer add money to their Wam wallet? Here’s how to guide them through the cash-in process quickly and smoothly.

Step 1: Confirm the Cash Amount

Ask the customer how much they’d like to add to their Wam wallet and collect the cash (TTD).

Step 2: Open the Agent App

Open your Wam Agent account and tap ‘Cash In’ to begin the transaction.
Don’t see the button? You may need to switch accounts first.

Step 3: Scan the Customer’s QR Code

Ask the customer to show their unique QR code. They can find it in their app by tapping: Top Up → Top Up via Wam Agent, or using the QR Code button on their home screen.

Scan the code using your device.

Step 4: Check or Enter the Transaction Details

  • If the customer has already entered the amount, review it with them and tap ‘Confirm & Pay’ to confirm.

  • If not, you’ll enter the amount based on the cash received. Double-check that it matches the customer’s request before confirming.

Step 5: Show the Confirmation Screen

Once the transaction is complete, you’ll see a green confirmation screen.

Let the customer know the cash-in was successful — their wallet will update instantly.
