As a Wam Agent, you're the bridge between digital money and cash. Here's how to smoothly handle a cash-out request from a customer.
Step 1: Confirm the requested amount
The customer will let you know they how much they want to cash out in TTD.
⚠️ Important: Before you begin, make sure you have enough cash on hand to fulfill the request.
Step 2: Tap ‘Cash Out’ in the app
Open your Wam app and tap the ‘Cash Out’ button to begin.
Don’t see the button? You might need to switch to your agent account.
Step 3: Choose who will enter the amount
You have 2 options for entering the transaction amount in your QR code screen:
Option 1: You (the agent) enters the amount
Enter the cash-out amount in TTD and confirm it with the customer.
Option 2: The customer enters the amount
Skip entering the amount; the customer will enter this in the next step.
Step 4: Customer Scans Your QR Code
Ask the customer to open their Wam app, tap ‘Cash Out’, and scan your QR code.
If you entered the amount: The customer will see it displayed and can tap 'Confirm & Pay' in their app.
If you didn’t enter the amount: They’ll be prompted to input it themselves, confirm it with you, and tap 'Confirm & Pay' in their app.
Step 5: Wait for the Confirmation Screen
Once the transaction is successful, you’ll see a green confirmation screen on the customer's device.
Step 6: Hand Over the Cash
Count out the cash and give the customer the correct amount.
Let them know the cash-out was successful and thank them!
Tips for a Smooth Cash-Out
Double-check the amount with the customer before finalizing.
Only hand over cash after the green confirmation screen appears.
Keep enough balance (cash on hand) to meet daily withdrawal needs.
